About Us

About the Tampa Jewish Mindfulness Center

TJMC is dedicated to creating a space where people (Jews and non-Jews alike) can explore the peace and wisdom that comes from slowing down and looking inward, all while connecting with the Jewish Tradition.

We use Mindfulness Meditation, chanting, learning, and plenty of other practices to help ourselves become more Mindful, more loving, and more open.

All of our programs are open to anyone -- people who just want to check out what Mindfulness is all about, as well as seasoned practitioners.

Rabbi Jason Rosenberg

Rabbi Jason Rosenberg is the founder of TJMC. Rabbi Rosenberg has been exploring Mindfulness for most of the last 2 decades, and is a certified teacher through the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.

He believes that, as much as anything else in Jewish practice, Mindfulness has the potential to truly change us for the better. He's passionate about sharing Mindfulness with anyone who wants to learn, and to exploring how this ancient set of practices can bring meaning into our lives.

Rabbi Rosenberg is also the Rabbi of Congregation Beth Am. He lives in Tampa with his wife Hillary and, when they come home to visit, his two children, Ben and Talia. And, his dog, Guinness.
